Background
INLAND DEVELOPMENT TANZANIA (IDT) is a Non - Governmental Organization legally registered under the Act NO. 24 of 2002 on August 2019 with registration NO. 00NGO/R/0489 to operate in Tanzania Mainland. Inland Development Tanzania (IDT) is the inheritor name of African Inland Church Tanzania (AICT), which was a Faith Based Organization (FBO) and non-profit organization. The organization’s head office is located in Tabora Municipal at AICT Diocese of Tabora, opposite the Kitete Primary School. IDT is currently implementing programs in the Tabora region and has sub-offices in each council of the Tabora region. IDT aims to develop endeavors and empower the community to overcome poverty, Ignorance, and diseases and advocate for human rights.
PART A: TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
SECTION 1: Invitation to Tender
IDT invites sealed bids from eligible candidates for provision of vehicle hire services to conduct its daily projects operations across 8 Councils in Tabora region.

The operations will take approximately 15 to 20 running Days per month From 01.12.2024 - 30.09.2025 |
The details of the Vehicles to be hired are below:
- Toyota land cruiser hard top or Prado- seven-seaters and above.
- Vehicles should be insured and should carry necessary permits/ clearance from the Transport Authority or any other concerned authority.
- The bidder should be able to provide a vehicle that can work on rough roads and in rainy seasons with air conditioning, seatbelts, Tires, spare tires, a Fire extinguisher, Reflectors, a Toolbox, a First aid kit, and lights.
Submission Instructions
Interested bidders must submit the following information to IDT:
- Pricing structure.
- Current company profile.
- Copies of the office's registration certificate and address, valid business license, VAT, TIN certificates, and valid Tax clearance certificate.
- Current Audited financial statement for two consecutive years i.e. 2022 and 2023 (Signed and stamped)
- Payment terms 100% after the provision of the service and after Invoice submission.
- The service provider should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in providing vehicle hiring services. (Evidence of at least 3 contracts or LPO, name and addresses of clients served)
Eligibility
Vendors must be currently legally operating in Tanzania, and the quotation must include all the following information:
- Ability to meet or exceed the requirements/ specifications outlined above.
- Ability to deliver the services as required.
- Ability to meet timeline as per the flexibility required.
Evaluation Criteria:
- Price.
- Financial capability.
- Experience.
- Quality of the vehicle.
